OLUBI ADEJOBI FACILITATES DONATION OF CRICKET EQUIPMENTS TO GCI

The Dressing room of the GCI Cricket Team was again re stocked on Friday,1st of April, 2022 as a Grierson of Government College Ibadan, Olubi Adejobi (Grier, 1975) in collaboration with Krishat Pharma donated cricket equipment to his Alma Mater.

The Cricket equipment which were received by the GCI Storekeeper included 11 pairs of Cricket Jersey (Shirt & Long), 2 pieces of Chest Pad, 3 pieces of Thick Pad, 5 packs of 6 pieces each, of Tennis Ball, 3 pairs of Batman Glove, 1 pack of Soft Ball Wicket, 4 packs of Helmet, 6 pieces of boxes,16 pairs of sneakers, 1 pack of 6 pieces each, of Hard Ball; 4 pairs of Bating Pad, 1 pack of Wicket Keepers Glove, 4 pieces of Hard ball bat, 1 soft ball, 4 pairs of Batman pad, 5 pieces of Soft ball bat, and 6 pieces of Wicket.

It would be recalled that the children of the late Mr. G.O.A. Falade, a former Principal of the school; had earlier donated Cricket equipment to the Cricket team of GCI in the month of February, 2022. In his short address at the basement of the GCI Admin Block, Olubi (1975) charged the students to ensure that the cricket kits are only used on GCI grounds and not to be taken home nor stolen. He further urged them to take proper care of the kits and also promptly return each of the kits after every use.

The Principal of the Senior School, Mr. Peter Awodiran commended the Old Boy and the Krishat Pharma Ltd ably represented at the presentation stage for keeping at heart Government College Ibadan at all times in their philanthropic projects
