On my term as Set Captain, Thank you!
I'd like to thank my wonderful and super 1971 colleagues for the opportunity to captain them in 2017 and 2018. It was indeed an unforgettable experience. Seye my vice, was very supportive, and no doubt his tenure as set captain was a huge success. Soji, my past President, was very caring as he made it a policy to check on me always. For this, I am grateful.
we Our set is blessed with fantastic people who showed up with their families in large numbers at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja during 2017 and 2018 Endos, when were able to present awards to some of our outstanding classmates. Wale Babalakin and Biodun Odude (2017); Yinka Adedayo and Sobo Onasanya (2018). I have hardly met people who are more caring, kindhearted and supportive than our 1971 set. Serving as Set Captain allowed me to build a closer relationship with a fantastic team of people: Bolade Oyebolu, Wale Babalakin, Wale Ajomale, Femi Onadele, Yinka Adedayo, Sobo Onasanya, Bayo Odunlami, Edward Akerele, Juwon Adenuga and of course my super friends Wole Adebayo and Demola Akintola to mention a few. It also gave me an opportunity to expand my perspective and decision making on teamwork, business and many other areas of life. It is truly an invaluable asset to have classmates you can rely on, so, I look forward to being a part of and continuing to preserve the culture of Endo.
