LATE LALEKAN ARE'S FAMILY SUPPLYS PENS TO GCI STUDENTS

The family of late Dr. Lalekan Ayokunnu Are (514, Field, 1948) has gifted hundreds of pen to students of Government College Ibadan.
The writing material was given to the SSS 3 students and school prefects (368, altogether) of the school in commemoration of the 2nd Annual Memorial Celebrations of the late distinguished Old Boy, in January, 2022.

It would be recalled that late Lalekan Are was the President and Patron of Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association between 1988 and 2006, and 2007 and 2020 respectively. He died on the 27th January, 2020 and was buried on 21st February, 2020.
