GCIOBA-1994 SET DONATES 3000 BOOKS TO GCI

Following the resumption of the public secondary schools in the Pacesetter state on Monday, 11th January, 2020; a donation of 3000 exercise books was made to Government College Ibadan on Friday, 15th January, 2021 by the 1994 Set of Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association.

The Chairman of the Set, Bolaji Alarape; while presenting the books to the school management mentioned it that the donation was in line with the Set's annual intervention to the school and was used to commemorate the Set's 26th Anniversary of entry into Government College Ibadan. He urged the students to be diligent in their academics and always put their Alma Mater at heart anywhere they are in the future.

Present at the presentation of the books at Geography Department (temporal Admin Block) were Ifeoluwa Anibaloye and Afeez Iyiola - the Vice Chairman and Financial Secretary of the Set respectively.

The Principal of the school, Mr Oluwole Adewale appreciated the 1994 Set for their kind gesture and the Old Boys at large for their prompt and thoughtful interventions at all times. He assured the Set that the books would have a good and wider spread across the three schools, so as to enable all the students to enjoy the GCIOBA-1994 Set's intervention.

Lawal Kabiru of SSS 3B and Deputy Head of School, on behalf of the entire GCI students thanked the Set for the donation and prayed for God's supernatural blessings unto all members of 1994 Set.
