5 GCI Boys Scored 300+ in 2019/20 UTME

Not less than 5 students of Government College Ibadan who attempted the 2019/2020 University Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board have been found to score marks in excess of 300 from a possible 400.

Moses Tijesuni Samuel and Odinaka Ebube Paul scored 308 and 309 respectively, while the remaining three were yet to be identified as at the time of filing this report. Many other boys of GCI also scored very high marks in the competitive national examination.

Encomiums have since been showered on both the academic staff of the school, and the Old Boys Association for their concerted efforts and investments in the restoration of the academic glory of the school.

It would be recalled that GCI Boys in the good old days of the school used to be the winners of regional, national and International scholarships due to their unique and unparalleled academic prowess.
