Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos on Thursday appointed a former Head of Service in the state, Mrs. Folasade Jaji, as the new Secretary to the State Government.
The news is contained in a statement issued by the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, on Thursday in Lagos.
Jaji, a chemist, had served as the 17th Head of Service of the state�s Public Service.

The 1989 set of Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association (GCIOBA) will hold its 30th anniversary dinner and reunion between June 21 and 22 at the school ground in Ibadan.

Eight octogenarians who are living alumni members (set 1949) of the Government College, Ibadan celebrated a reunion to mark the 70th anniversary of their entry into the school.
The set was admitted into GCI on January 21, 1949 and graduated in 1953. The old boys had since nicknamed the set, �the forty niners.�
