WAITE Richard

Richard (Rick) Waite spent over 37 years as an Engineer in the oil and gas business.

He retired about two years ago and now lives in North Devon in the UK, having relocated from the southeast of the UK. His role with a single company took him to various places including Norway for three years and Australia for another three years. He had the benefit of working on the development of some very challenging projects involving complex reservoirs, deeper water areas with limited export infrastructure and complex commercial arrangements. His last position was that of Engineering Director in a Global Projects Organisation.

He is presently enjoying his retirement doing a lot of walking, some traveling, some voluntary work and he is about to embark on a property renovation project.

He is happily married and he has two wonderful children.
