Akin Osuntoki was admitted into Government College Ibadan in September 1974 with the School Number 2983. He was in Powell House.

Akin has about 30 years of business management experience. He started out as an Accountant with Pfizer Products Plc. and spent 18 years with Vigeo Holdings, a Nigerian conglomerate. He contributed immensely to the emergence of Vigeo Holdings as a multi-business, quality oriented organization. He retired in March 2007 as Executive Director of Vigeo Holdings.

In May 2007, he established Richardson Oil and Gas Limited - an Oil and Gas Services Company. Richardson Oil and Gas (ROG) is an established player in the Oil and Gas service segment; a member of the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), Oil and Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria (OGTAN), Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF) and provides services to all International Oil Companies in Nigeria.

ROG has an online retail store (www.richardsonsafetystore.com) and is ISO 9001:2008 certified. ROG is the organiser of the annual PSRG-Richardson Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) Forum.

Akin Osuntoki is a graduate of Accounting (1984); Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (1997); Fellow of the Institute of Taxation (2002); Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (2014); Member, Chartered Institute of Management (2003); Member, Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals (2004); Alumnus of the Lagos Business School (1994); Alumnus of the Harvard Business School (2002). He has attended several Management Programmes. He has just concluded an MBA programme at the Business School Netherlands.

Mr Osuntoki has developed and delivered several open and in-house training courses covering Marketing, Sales Management, Accounting and Finance, Branding, Teamwork, Leadership, Strategy and Organisation Efficiency.

He is a regular presenter at the OFFSHORE WEST AFRICA Conference and Exhibition.

His area of interest is the NIGERIAN CONTENT THRUST in the Oil and Gas industry.

Akin won the award for the best presentation at the 2009 and 2012 editions of the OFFSHORE WEST AFRICA Conference and Exhibition. He is a member of the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF),

He has received several awards for excellent and outstanding performance in the course of his professional career. He is a volunteer instructor and mentor at FATE FOUNDATION (an NGO committed to fostering wealth creation by promoting business and entrepreneurial development among Nigerians).

Akin once served as the Social Secretary of GCIOBA Lagos Branch.

He is married to Titi, a banker and they have three children.

He is on the board of several organisations.
