Mr Olujembola is a chartered process engineer and project practitioner in both upstream and downstream of the global Oil & Gas Industry. He is currently the CEO of Suffix Energy Solutions. He worked at Exxon Mobil for ten years, as a project manager and as a Business Manager. Gaining expertise on several projects.

Widely read, he obtained his MBA from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School, Scotland, earned his Post-Graduate Certificate in Petroleum Studies (C.P.S.) from St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University, UK, and also earned his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. He is a chartered engineer (COREN), member of Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, affiliate member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Institution of Chemical Engineers in United Kingdom and European Federation of Chemical Engineers.

Folarin’s interest in sporting activities was nurtured from early years at the Government College Ibadan starting from 1974. He was encouraged to participate in Athletics (Triple Jump, Long Jump, Javelin, and long distance races), Football, Field Hockey, and Cricket representing Field House as one of the five houses (dormitories) in the school.

His enthusiasm in the various sporting activities as a young scholar created the opportunity to acquire requisite skills / dexterity for him to qualify to play initially in the Government College Ibadan (GCI) junior or coast teams for football and hockey, and eventually the main school senior teams for both games.

He was a mid-field player for the GCI football team that executed the 1977/78 and 1978/79 Oyo State Principals’ Cup football competition for secondary schools (runner’s up and champions respectively for the two editions).

He played for the Oyo State Hockey Team (Intermediate boys) from 1978 – 1981 for the National Sports Festivals in Ibadan (1979) and Benin (1981), and also the Oyo State Hockey Team (Men) from 1981 – 1990 at different National Sports Festivals and Hockey Championships.

He was a Member of the University of Ife Hockey Squad (1979 – 1984, 1985 – 1987) to numerous Nigeria University Games and West Africa University Games, (team captain 1982 – 1984), and Nigerian Men’s Hockey Team (1985 – 1995) to numerous All African Games Competition, African Nations Cup Competition, Commonwealth and Olympic Games’ African qualification tournaments, etc

He was also a Member of the Union Bank Hockey Team (1982 – 1999) to numerous National Club Championships, African Club Championships, International Field Hockey Competitions (JFK Tournament, Washington D.C., USA), International Invitational Friendlies in the UK, Netherlands, Ghana, etc.

He was the chairman of Lagos State Hockey Association (2000 – 2003) and currently the South West geopolitical region representative on the board of the Nigerian Hockey Federation (NHF).

Earlier educational preparation was at St. Peter’s Anglican School, Eaton Square – London (UK), St. James’ Cathedral School, Ibadan and Government College Ibadan (GCI) in Oyo State, Nigeria.
