Adebola was born in Ibadan on the 31st day of August 1964. He attended Alafia Nursery & Primary School and later gained admission into the prestigious Government College Ibadan for his 0’ Levels in September 1975.

He did his A’ Levels at International School Ibadan and graduated with a B.Sc. in Computer Science from The University of Lagos in 1986. He did his National Youth Corps in Ibadan where he met his Wife, Yewande Edun. They got married in 1994 and they are blessed with 3 children all boys.

In 1998 together with Fadahunsi Seye, Ojo Folabi, Late Esan Femi all of ‘71 Set and Akingbade Ayo 72 set, formed an Old Boys’ Cricket Team in Lagos. As the youngest of them all, he was assigned the task to run the club. This, he has successfully done since then with help from them. Of course this has been possible with the financial help of Dr. Wale Babalakin of the 1971 Set as he loves the game of Cricket and of the school his Alma Mater. It should be noted also that Air Commodore Gab Eso Rtd. of the ‘53 Set has also played a major role in the success of the Club as he gives tips from time to time and threatens to deal with us if we don’t perform well.

Lagos State Cricket has 3 main competitions played yearly amongst 15 different clubs.
