I.O. ASUNI

PRINCIPAL (2002 - 2003)

Unlike most of his predecessors in office, Mr. I.O. Asuni was never a classroom teacher in GCI in his early days as an Education Officer. Mr Asuni had been the Vice - Principal (Administration) between 1999 and 2002.

He served under four Principals during this period - Mr. O. Omoloye, Mr. D.O. Ajekigbe, Elder 'Layiwola Olajide, and Mr. F.A. Ademola - acquiring more than adequate experience so that by the time he became Principal, he was familiar with the problems facing the College. He believed in and employed the spirit of team-work in running the administration of the College.
