GCIOBA-North America Branch Holds Her 2018 ENDO

Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association, GCIOBA, an alumni association of the prestigious Government College Ibadan was instituted far back in 1934 with the first set of graduands of the school by Captain H.T.C. Field, the then Principal, and second Principal of the school, who also doubled as the maiden President of the Association.

The Association has since remained foremost, forthright and formidable not only at his home in the city of Ibadan, but also in and outside its home country, Nigeria; setting the pace and standing tall amidst its peers. The Association has birthed many branches locally and internationally, among which are GCIOBA-Ibadan Branch, also known as The Mother Branch, GCIOBA-Abeokuta Branch, GCIOBA-Ijebu Branch, GCIOBA-Osogbo Branch, GCIOBA-Lagos Branch,GCIOBA-Abuja Branch,GCIOBA-Europe Branch and GCIOBA-North America Branch.

The North America Branch of Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association, as part of its tradition, has scheduled her 2018 End-of-year Party, fondly known as ENDO to come up between Friday, 21st and Sunday, 23rd of September, at Atlanta Georgia (GA), United States of America. The event would avail Old Boys, Young Girls and their guests a palatial treat, and enable Old Boys to brainstorm on how to make their Alma Mater great again, renew old friendships, make new ones and reminisce about the good old days.

The Guest Speaker for the event is a legal luminary and an illustrious Old Boy, in person of Mobolaji Olukayode Ayorinde (SAN, FCArb., OFR) of the 1974 Class Set.

The ENDO shall be opened with an Annual General Meeting, stated for 6 - 8pm, followed by a 'Welcome to ENDO Night' proper by 8.30 -11.00pm on Friday, 21st September, 2018. The second day will feature a Novelty Cricket Match and Picnic between 10.00am and 3.00pm, while the grand finale featuring an exquisite dinner and dance will take place between 7.00pm of Saturday, 22nd and 1.00am of Sunday, 23rd September, 2018.

The Planning Committee Chairman, Folarin Olubowale (Field, 1972) has urged all Old Boys, Young Girls and friends of the Association to grace this epoch making event, and register at www.gciendo2018.com; he also assured Old Boys that the Planning Committee is already working hard to make sure that ENDO 2018 in Atlanta will be the best ENDO yet! He added that Old Boys from different chapters have decided to join hands with the Old Boys in Atlanta and the South East to make ENDO 2018 as robust and diverse as possible.
