Late Chief (Mrs) Caroline Ebun Akin-Deko was the Young Girl of late Gabriel Akinola Deko (60, Swanston, 1930), a founding father and President of Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association between 1951 and 1975. Late Akin-Deko (30 October 1913 – 5 November 1987), an indigene of Idanre in Ondo State was a Nigerian building contractor and former regional Minister for Agriculture in the Western region of Nigeria, he was also a personal friend of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

Late Chief (Mrs) Caroline Ebun Akin-Deko was the mother of late Kola Deko (1963) and Gboyega Akin-Deko (1970). The late Young Girl died at the age of 93, and was finally buried on Saturday, 21st of January, 2017 at her residence in Ondo State.
