GCI Old Boys in the line of National duty

Engr Sanjo Kanmi-Jones (formerly Ogunkanmi) was the first Nigerian to play professional Hockey in the world (1997 - 2005).
He played for Centro Universitaro Sportivo, Cagliari; Gatto Azurro Hockey Club; and Citta del Tricolore Hockey Club, all in Italy at different points for 10 years before he retired.

As an Hockey Player, he earlier represented his Alma Maters - Government College Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile - Ife, at both local
and international tournaments; Nigerian Railways Hockey Club and Union Bank Hockey Club at different National Leagues; Oyo State Hockey Team and Nigerian National Hockey Team at different National Sports Festivals and 2012 London Olympic Games.

Engr Folarin Olujembola (formerly Fajembola) played for GCI Junior and Senior Hockey Teams (1974 - 1979), Oyo State Hockey Team (1978 - 1990), University of Ife Hockey Squad (1979 - 1984, 1985 - 1987; Team Captain {1982 - 1984}), Union Bank Hockey Team (1982 - 1999), and Nigerian Men's Hockey Team (1985 - 1995) at different local, national and international tournaments.
