Taiwo Oluyemisi Fatungase… airline captain/bond servant of Yeshua hamashiac. was born on the 26th of June 1958 at the U.C.H Ibadan to the family of Mr & Mrs S.O. Fatungase. The third of six siblings, his dad was a lawyer and mum a textile merchant.

He had his primary and secondary schooling in Ibadan, and is a member of the GCI 70/74 set. He was in CARR house. His hobbies include football then and probably was the best dribbler in CARR house "set games" at that time.

After GCI, He attended Rogers Aviation International Flying School in Cranfield England, and graduated from there with a UK Private Pilots License. From there, He proceeded to the Sierra Academy of Aeronautics California U.S.A. where He obtained his Commercial Pilots License with Instruments and Multi-Engine Ratings. He also attended a course in Flight Engineering and got his license.

He returned to Nigeria in 1978 and joined Nigeria Airways Ltd. He worked with Nigeria Airways for 14 years and became a captain on the B737 aircraft in 1988 at the age of 30yrs. He left Nigeria Airways in 1992 to join Okada Air ltd. From Okada Air, he later joined Oriental Air, EAS Airline, Chachangi Airline, and Capital Airlines.

Capital Airlines, with some friends established and incorporated Air Meridian Airlines Ltd in the year 2002, where he became the MD/CEO.

In 2011, He joined Arik Air Ltd as captain on their Boeing 737NG and left them in 2013 back to Air Meridian. As a pilot, Captain Fatungase is rated on the Cessna 150, 172, Cessna 31, Fokkerr 27, Boeing 737, Airbus 310, and B.A.C 1-11 aircraft.

In his flying career starting as a rookie co-pilot-second officer (at a tender age of 20 years old), and the first officer, He rose to the position of captain and also an Instructor captain. In all these, he logged a total flying time of 12,500 hours

In the year 2018, He joined the Accident Investigation Bureau of Nigeria and was trained and certified at Cranfield University UK as an Air Safety Investigator, where he works to date.

He is also an author of four books namely; Excerpts from the Sky, Pamphlet of Life, an Instructor pilot for instruction in Righteousness, Two Visitations from Heaven, and a vision of Jesus Christ. Three of these are on Amazon.co.uk.

He is married to Mrs. Oghogho Fatungase with three children.

He is presently retired as an Airline Captain, and now presides over Air Meridian Ltd, Lagos, Nigeria.
