Prof. Jacob Awobusuyi, is a Consultant Nephrologist at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). He was the Doctor that led the team that recently performed the first renal transplant at LASUTH.

He has acquired over 37 years of experience in the medical profession, specialising in Nephrology. He attended Government College Ibadan between 1973 and 1978, and qualified as a medical doctor at the University of ilorin. He is presently an Associate Professor of Medicine, at Lagos State University College of Medicine IKeja. Lagos.
