Chief Emiola Samuel Adesina was born on the 16th of December, 1929 at Omoni Village, Off Oyo Road, Ibadan.

He attended many primary schools for his primary education but St. Peters Primary School, Aremo was the one he attended between 1939 and 1942 before he gained admission to Government College Ibadan in 18th January, 1945. He was in GCI till 18th May, 1950 for his secondary education and belonged to Swanston House. He was a Right Back in the School's Soccer Team, and an athlete who later became the Captain of the School's Athletics Team.

He thereafter proceeded to the then University College, Ibadan; now University of Ibadan to study History, English and Religious Studies for his Bachelor's Degree.

He started his professional career as a Teacher in June 1955 at Egbado College in Ogun State and later was transferred to Ayedaade Grammar School between January 1957 and December 1964 as its founding Principal. He returned to Ibadan and was appointed as the Director of Sports at the first National Stadium - the then Liberty Stadium (now Obafemi Awolowo Stadium) between January 1965 and April 1977. Later, he went into farming as a Poultry Farmer.

As a foremost Educator, he established Subuola Memorial Nursery and Primary School in 1972, and later founded Emifunmi College; which are one of the model private schools in the city of Ibadan.

Until his death, Senior High Chief Adesina was the Maye Olubadan of Ibadan, and an active member of GCI Old Boys Association; he was blessed with children and grand children.

He died on 27th January, 2020 and was buried on 28th February, 2020.
