1992 Set Holds Her 21st Reunion, Erstwhile Oyo State First Lady Urges Old Boys To Suppot Their Young Girls

It was an atmosphere of joy and gladness filled with smiles and laughter at the Lalekan Are Hall, Government College Ibadan as the 1992 Set converged to celebrate their twenty-first reunion anniversary.

The celebration which was preceded by a novelty football match which the Ibadan team won by trouncing the team from Lagos and diaspora by four goals to one.

Addressing the gathering, the Guest Speaker - wife of the Immediate Past Governor of Oyo state, Dr. Florence Ajimobi encouraged men to always support their wives, as that would be beneficial to the family.

Citing examples of how her husband supported her businesses, Dr. Ajimobi stressed the need for parents to expose their children to their businesses in order to help them garner the requisite experience which would come in handy in the future.

The erstwhile First Lady urged the younger generation to embrace business ventures that would add value to their lives and not despising the small beginnings since Rome was not built in a day. She shared the story of Grandex Stores which started out as a small venture but over the years, it has grown into a household name. Starting small is not bad, staying small is; she asserted.

Dr. Ajimobi applauded GCIOBA for a good job done, asserting that bringing together men from all walks of life to relive the memories of the past is not a mean feat.
